Back in 2023, recognising the need for a place where older residents of the parish could come for a quiet cuppa, some delicious warm treats and a chat with friends, Mary Jones and a small group of volunteers started the monthly “Saturday Morning Brunch Club”, happening on the first Saturday in the month at the Wesley Hall in Trinity church.
Offering freshly cooked Bacon or Sausage Baps, Buttermilk Pancakes with Cherry
compote and breakfast pastries, all at very modest prices.
In addition to the food being served, customers can buy home made take-away cakes and pastries etc.
We achieved a 5 star rating by the Food Standards Agency in 2023 and in June this year (2025) we were reassessed and kept our 5 star rating, all due to the hard work of Mary and the team.
