Also included in the Ward of Stonnall are Lower Stonnall, Lynn, Thornes, Hilton and Whitacre Heath.<\/div>\n<div class=\"t pg-1m0 pg-1x2 pg-1h4 pg-1y3 pg-1ff2 pg-1fs0 pg-1fc0 pg-1sc0 pg-1ls0 pg-1ws0\" style=\"text-align: justify;\">It is\u00a0situated between the A452 Chester Road and the A461 Walsall Road,\u00a0but the surrounding farmlands buffer the effect of the main roads.<\/div>\n<div class=\"t pg-1m0 pg-1x2 pg-1h4 pg-1y3 pg-1ff2 pg-1fs0 pg-1fc0 pg-1sc0 pg-1ls0 pg-1ws0\" style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Use the left hand menu bar<\/strong> to find out more about the <strong>Playing Fields<\/strong>; our village <strong>church and School<\/strong>; our communal buildings (under <strong>Halls for Hire<\/strong>) and our numerous village groups and clubs which cater for a variety of leisure activities. The site is best viewed in &#8220;landscape&#8221; mode on tablets.<\/div>\n<div class=\"t pg-1m0 pg-1x2 pg-1h4 pg-1y3 pg-1ff2 pg-1fs0 pg-1fc0 pg-1sc0 pg-1ls0 pg-1ws0\" style=\"text-align: justify;\"><\/div>\n<div class=\"t pg-1m0 pg-1x2 pg-1h4 pg-1y3 pg-1ff2 pg-1fs0 pg-1fc0 pg-1sc0 pg-1ls0 pg-1ws0\" style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>About 1200<\/strong> <strong>people<\/strong> live in the main village and it has a vibrant community\u00a0with many well supported organisations for residents and visitors of all\u00a0ages. It still has the benefit of a newsagent \/ local general store, fish and\u00a0chip shop, Indian restaurant and two hairdressers.<\/div>\n<div class=\"t pg-1m0 pg-1x2 pg-1h4 pg-1y3 pg-1ff2 pg-1fs0 pg-1fc0 pg-1sc0 pg-1ls0 pg-1ws0\" style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Other facilities and\u00a0amenities<\/strong> include the primary school, St Peter\u2019s and the village church,\u00a0also St. Peter\u2019s, as well as a village hall, community centre and two\u00a0pubs. The villagers have a pleasant local playing field with a recently\u00a0refurbished children\u2019s play area, together with a full sized football pitch.\u00a0This field has seen many communal activities over the years including\u00a0celebrations for the Queen\u2019s silver, gold and diamond jubilees.<\/div>\n<div class=\"t pg-1m0 pg-1x2 pg-1h4 pg-1y3 pg-1ff2 pg-1fs0 pg-1fc0 pg-1sc0 pg-1ls0 pg-1ws0\" style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>A regular bus service<\/strong> runs between Walsall and Lichfield through\u00a0Shenstone.
