Christmas Tree Service

It is November already, and in a few weeks it will be time to celebrate Advent and Christmas, including our traditional Christmas Tree Service at Trinity which will be held on:

Sunday 10th December 2022 at 4.30 pm.

This service has become a very much-loved occasion and appreciated by many people in the village. It provides an opportunity to come together with those groups who use the Wesley Hall throughout the year, and other valued village organisations. We hope that you will be able to participate again this year by providing and decorating a Christmas tree. We also hope that a representative of your group would be able to attend the service. It is a very special moment when all of the trees are illuminated. This service will incorporate an opportunity to join in with some well-loved Christmas carols, to get us in the mood for
“The Big Event”.

As part of the service, we ask contributors to come forward with a tree ornament, to represent your group, to place on the communal tree.

We thank you for your continuing support. The church will be open to allow you to erect and decorate your tree on:
Thursday 7th and Saturday 9th December between 10.00 am and 12.00 pm.

Trees should be taken down and collected between
10.30 am and 12.00pm on Thursday 4th January 2023.
It would be helpful if you could let us know your preferred time slot, so we can plan accordingly.

You may be aware that in recent years Trinity has supported the Birmingham City Mission in their Toy-link appeal. The mission delivers presents to the children of disadvantaged Birmingham families in the run up to Christmas. At Trinity we collect brand new toys and sellotape and wrapping paper.
Could you bring a brand new, unwrapped toy and/or some sellotape and wrapping paper to the service when you attend?
