Do come along for a chat …………refreshments included.
LOOKING FORWARD TO MEETING YOU
23.08.23 – Latest Update from Shirley O’Mara (Parish Clerk):
Time: From 12.45 for set up with doors open 1.30-4.00pm.
Refreshments: There will be tea/coffee, soft drinks & biscuits throughout.
Set up: Each group will have an area allocated for seating, display board, leaflets, etc.
Number of groups confirmed: Eleven. Would the uniformed children’s groups please advise if you wish to have one central hub or individual areas? If joined, then that would reduce allocated areas to eight. These are:
Friends of Shenstone Tower
Friends of Shenstone Station 1884
Shenstone Parents & Toddlers
Stonnall Playing Fields
Shenstone Community Library.
Other groups who have not yet indicated an interest to attend are still very welcome if you know of any.
Communications: A full page advert went in the last newsletter( June/July) so all households across the Parish notified.
Also, there are posters on street lamp posts, noticeboards & the website. In terms of attendees interested, obviously we won’t know until the day
but fingers crossed it will be a successful day. Please utilise social media as much as possible to share details yourselves.
Flyers/Leaflets, etc: I am happy to photocopy anything required beforehand for distribution.
I am waiting to hear from Support Staffordshire who may well be attending to provide advice.
Please note I am away from 31st Aug to Sept 12th. My emails will not be monitored in my absence so if you need anything I will not be able to deal with it until 13th onwards ( or before I go of course!).
