Mrs. C. Penrose  representing Shenstone Playing Fields Management Committee

  • Mrs. Penrose re-iterated her request made at the Parish Council meeting held in November for a meeting to be held between members of Shenstone Parish Council,  Shenstone Playing Fields Management Committee and the Pathfinder Football Club and for the details of why the Playing Fields Management Committee has been deemed ‘dysfunctional’.

Councillor David Salter – Chairman Shenstone Parish Council

  • Acknowledged the comments made by Mrs. Penrose and that it is in everyone’s best interest to resolve the current position – however the letter received by

Shenstone Parish Council from solicitors instructed by Pathfinders Football Club has determined the course of action and the resultant time taken as Shenstone Parish Council receive relevant legal advice

  • Mrs. C. Penrose requested a copy of a confidential report referred to in Shenstone Parish Council Council minutes October 2008 -  Agenda Item 75
  • Councillor Paul Hadley -  Chairman Shenstone Parish Council and Chairman Shenstone Playing Fields Management Committee acknowledged the courage shown by Mrs. Penrose to speak on behalf the SPFMC and Pathfinder Football Club without support.
  • Councillor David Salter -  in response to call for copy of confidential report to be shown to members of the SPFMC and Pathfinder Football Club advised that the Parish Council is seeking legal clarification and will respond in due course directly to Mrs. Penrose once clarification has been received
  • Councillor T. Cox  -  Shenstone Parish Council assured Mrs. Penrose that the confidential report did not in any way refer directly  to Members of the SPFMC and as soon as legal advise permits that information will be shared and a meeting called.
  • Mrs. C. Penrose called for a meeting between all parties ‘without prejudice’
  • Councillor David Salter Shenstone Parish Council  to seek relevant legal advice and once received this may be considered
